Structure and pattern still continue to fascinate me and influence my work. The Mother Shipton moth in its natural habitat was the first in a series of embroideries I am making of moths and butterflies, celebrating the variety of colour and shaping of pattern displayed by these beautiful insects. The Swallowtail and Camberwell Beauty butterflies and the Oleander hawk moth continue this series.
